Communication and Language Skills during Transition to Adulthood

Join us for a conversation with two Speech and Language Pathologists, Helena Tam and Marilyn Bird, as we discuss the role of SLPs in the designing of an Individualized Transition Plan, and how communication goals pivot around the three main areas in transition: independent living, employment and furthering education. We will also look at the role of families in this process and how SLPs have an inherent counseling role in supporting youths during this transition.
