SFASA develops community and learning by hosting a variety of events throughout the year. Our events are designed to improve outcomes for our families, to ensure access to educational resources, expert advice, peer networking, and shared experiences.

These program outings cover a wide variety of activities including concerts, hikes, and festivals. They ensure inclusivity and participation opportunities for all community members.

We bring families together, build understanding of the impact of autism, and foster a sense of solidarity. We are committed to making our outings safe, accessible, and inclusive. All events offer scholarships for those who cannot otherwise afford to attend.

We provide a robust resource library on our website, an information & referral helpline, newsletters twice a month, a blog, and social media groups. We are committed to providing our families with resources to make their lives less challenging and more rewarding.

Our annual adult autism conference is renowned, and we offer a variety of informative webinars throughout the year. The benefits of our affiliate lie in our community—we are always working toward strengthening our knowledge base and connections.

We pride ourselves on advocating at the local, state, and national levels. Our board and leadership have local connections to provide outreach to the public and policymakers. We act as an authoritative voice on autism in the media and in public forums.
