Autism Society San Francisco Bay Area / Stanford Adult Autism/DD Conference Interest Form

This form is for prospective presenters, vendors and sponsors. Though we hope to select as many applicants as we possibly can, space is limited, and the committee will select the applicants most aligned with the goals of the conference.

The conference will be held Saturday, October 14, 8.30am-4pm at Stanford University, Li Ka Shing Center. It will feature both presentations in classrooms AND a resource fair. We also welcome sponsors for the event.

Subject matter: All sessions and resource fair tables must relate to the theme of the conference: planning and supports for adults with substantially disabling autism and related developmental disabilities. The target audience is parents, caregivers, family members and professionals. Themes of interest include: legal planning, financial planning, public benefits, regional center services, housing, medical and dental care, psychiatric care, behavior and communication therapy, recreation and social growth, family and parent wellness, staffing, advocacy and policy, and other topics that relate to the quality of life of these adults.

If you are interested in presenting material relevant to the neurodiversity audience we suggest you submit to the Stanford Neurodiversity Summit.

Allowable formats include:
—Resource fair: Information tables
—Presentations: Lectures, panels, roundtables, workshops, and discussion groups
—Sponsors: Name and logo on conference materials
