Spring Climbing Party!

When: Saturday, April 19, 2025, 11.30am-1:30pm
What: Climbing event with a brief overview when participants arrive, safety skills, and instructions of rope and/or boulder climbing. Shoes and harnesses provided.
Where: Movement Gym, 100 El Camino Real, Belmont
Who can climb: Ages 6+ only. Climbers also must be able to communicate sufficiently and function at a 1:5 ratio, to reduce risk and prevent them from putting themselves or others in danger (running under climbers/belayers/swinging on ropes). Parents must be onhand to provide additional support for the climber if they need time away from the group or someone familiar nearby to feel comfortable.
If the event does not fill up with special-needs climbers, we will open extra slots for sibling enrollment. Please contact Marcy, below, if interested.
Cost and registration: $20 per climber, must register at SFAutismSociety.org. No cost for parents or other caregivers. ALL PERSONS WHO WILL BE ONSITE MUST SIGN THE ONLINE WAIVER.
